The Balfour Beatty Communities Renovation and Construction team recently finished a substantial project at Hunter AAF Homes in the Wilson Acres neighborhood.
At the lead of Maurice Martin, project superintendent, the team began planning in June 2019 to tackle a year-long project to re-roof 172 residential homes and repave 27,445 square yards of road in the 1950s neighborhood. The careful planning and scheduling resulted in the team completing the project in 6 months—half the time of the original projection!
Maurice’s ability to coordinate with the contractors, our community partners, and the residents we serve, was instrumental to the success of this project. By completing the project in half the time, Maurice’s efforts saved money and gave our residents the confidence of our commitment to our communities.
