Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation kicks off annual scholarship program

It’s that time of year again! The annual Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation scholarship program is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 academic year. All residents, including spouses and children, who live at a BBC-owned and managed property are eligible to apply. Applicable properties include the entire military and campus portfolios and the following communities in our multifamily portfolio:

  • Evergreen Commons
  • Evergreen Park
  • Evergreen Terrace
  • Preserve at Southwind
  • Preserve at Zephyr Ridge
  • Ridgeland Place
  • Riverchase Landing
  • Townlake of Coppell

Residents who are planning to attend or are already attending an accredited college or university in the fall of 2019, or are enrolled in a program of study designed to transfer directly into a four-year program, can apply for a scholarship award which range from $1,000 to $2,500. Exceptional submissions can potentially earn a larger amount.

The criteria used to evaluate applicants includes:

  • Academic performance
  • Community involvement
  • Extracurricular activities
  • Financial need

Applications must be submitted at www.bbcommunitiesfoundation.org by March 22, 2019.
