Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation Appoints Sean Kent as President and Board Member

MALVERN, PA --- November 20, 2025 --- Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Sean Kent as its new President and Board Member. Mr. Kent currently serves as Senior Vice President of Construction and Renovation for Balfour Beatty Communities, where he leads a nationwide team delivering high-quality housing construction and renovation services.

A U.S. Navy veteran with more than 30 years of experience in leadership roles, Mr. Kent brings a deep personal and professional commitment to the Foundation’s work. His appointment reflects Balfour Beatty Communities’ continued dedication to giving back to the communities it serves - especially those connected to military life.

“I am honored to join the Foundation as its new President and Board Member,” said Kent. “Supporting military families and helping students pursue their educational goals are causes close to my heart. I look forward to working with our board and partners to grow our impact and continue living out our company’s We Care principles - putting people first, acting with integrity, and striving for excellence in everything we do.”

Founded in 2007 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the primary focus of the Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation is developing future leaders by helping deserving scholars residing in our communities pursue their dreams and ambitions through a scholarship program that, to date, has awarded close to $2M to more than 650 deserving students. Mr. Kent’s leadership will help expand the Foundation’s reach and deepen its commitment to helping those in our communities aim higher.
